NABSW Conference was a Success!

The 2009 NABSW Conference was a success. I hope all that attended was enlightened, renewed, and revamped to continue to fight the good fight of faith on behalf of the Black family and Black community.

LABSW February Chapter Meeting

LABSW held it's monthly chapter meeting on February 17th which happens every third Tuesday of each month at 6pm. We met in our new location in the Social Work Lounge at Spalding University (845 South Third Street) on the second floor.

We discussed plans for the upcoming national conference that will take place here in the city of Louisville for the very first time. We are wrapping up the final plans and are excited about the conference!

We are still in need of volunteers to assist with the conference. If you are interested, you must be a member or at least be able to be a potential member. We hope to see you there. This is a great chance to network with social work professionals and others who are committed to the betterment of people of African ancestry.

Next chapter meeting: Tuesday, March 17th at 6pm. Spalding University Social Work Lounge.
